From the world's tallest building (2004-2010) to the international Chinese art collection, Taipei is a city full of contrasts, where modern architecture and traditional cultures are mutually combined.
ICOBM-2020 has chosen Taipei as a perfect venue not just to exchange scientific ideas, but also to provide all participants a chance to experience diverse cultural traits ranging from beautifully carved old temples in the middle of modern streets, to world class authentic Asian cuisine and night market snacks.
Taipei is also a city in a park, combining urbanity with nature. Within driving distance from downtown (also reachable via MRT), several locations offer hot springs surrounded by mountains and trails for those who love a hiking adventure.
Welcome to Taipei!

NTUH INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER
Located in the most elite Zhong Zheng district where professionals and intellectuals gather, NTUH (National Taiwan University Hospital) International Convention Center is a precious stone that shines on the historic campus of NTUH amid all other government buildings in its surroundings. NTUH, with its national-level medical services and great research traditions, has always been one of the best among its peers in terms of researches and educational training.
NTUH International Convention Center looks like a crystal castle on the serene, verdant campus of NTUH. The retro, unsophisticated school buildings, along with Japanese Zen pot plants, complement its grassy-green gardens. Large, simple, artistic sculptures are displayed in various corners of the center, and standardized convention space and brand new software/facilities are offered, too. NTUH International Convention Center is truly one of the rarely-seen centers that manifest an artistic taste and modern, international capabilities in Taipei City.
